For players
The best part of indie games. Playable in one tap.
No install. No trailer. No store page first.
SLYYCE is a feed of Slyyces: playable moments from indie games. Each Slyyce is the moment its developer picked to show you what the game feels like. Scroll, tap Play, and you’re in.
If it clicks, the full game is one tap away. If it doesn’t, the next one is a swipe away.
The demo runs four games (Freedoom on the Doom engine, two open-source indie games and a SLYYCE prototype) and needs no account. Game credits · Make games? The developer side
How it works
Scroll, tap, play. Then talk back.
- 1
Scroll
Each card is a Slyyce: the developer’s cover or a looping clip, a few words about the game, and who made it.
- 2
Tap Play
The game opens right there, full screen in your browser. EXIT brings you back to the feed.
- 3
Talk back
Like it, comment, follow the maker, send it to a friend — or head to their store page for the full game.
Why you’ll like it here
Built for people who came to play.
What rises in the feed is decided by what players do with a game (play it, like it, talk about it), not by who paid for placement. Our recommendations are built to find the games you’ll love.
Played, not watched
No trailer cut to sell you something, no clip pretending to be gameplay: a Slyyce is the game itself, and you judge it with your thumbs.
Picked by the maker, checked by a person
Every Slyyce is uploaded by its developer, then scanned and reviewed by a person before it reaches the feed. So is every update.
Talk to the people who made it
Your comment lands with the developer. They reply with a creator badge, pin what matters and heart what helps.
Early, and it counts
A Slyyce can be a prototype: the developer tests an idea, reads the reaction, ships a new version. Your reaction is part of that.

Screens are from the current build, shown with sample data. Names and numbers are examples.
The honest bits
What to expect.
What you need
- A phone
The feed is built for your thumb. It works in a desktop browser too.
- A few minutes
A Slyyce is part of a game, not the whole thing: a level, a boss fight, one run.
- Nothing else
Each Slyyce runs in a sandbox in your browser, with no outside network access.
- An invite
SLYYCE is invite-only right now, for adult players in the US and EU first.
Where it’s going
The first Slyyces come from the first developers, so the feed starts small and grows as they do.
We’re building this with the first players, too. What you play, like and say in the comments tells us whether the feed works.
Straight talk
- Playing is free.
- It’s early. Small audience, real games. You’ll meet developers before the crowd does.
- Comments are moderated. Reports go to the moderation team.
- Some games want a thumb, some a mouse. The developer picks the controls that fit their Slyyce; the card says which.

Questions
The practical bits.
Is SLYYCE free?
Yes. Playing Slyyces is free, and the demo on this page needs no account.
Do I need an account?
Not for the demo on this page. SLYYCE itself is invite-only right now: adult players in the US and EU first.
Can I play on my computer?
Yes, in a browser. The feed is built for phones first.
Are these full games?
No. A Slyyce is the part of a game its developer chose to show what it feels like. The full game is on their store page, linked from the card and the in-game menu.
Who picks the games?
Developers upload their own Slyyces. Every upload is scanned and reviewed by a person before it reaches the feed. What rises after that is decided by what players do with it.
Is the demo the real app?
No. It’s a working copy of the feed with four demo games: Freedoom on the Doom engine, two open-source indie games and a prototype by the SLYYCE team. The real feed is where the indie games will be.
